Yesterday was a relatively quiet day in hockey land in general, for once. It seemed like both the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Syracuse Crunch were content to bask in the glow of their six goal victories from the day before.
Speaking of victory, Syracuse’s power play is making headlines for the first time in quite a while.
The #SyrCrunch power play is ranked first in @TheAHL at 29.9%. Before last Sunday, the Crunch had not scored four power-play goals in five years. Now they've done it twice in the last four games and are 11-for-22 in that span.
