This week, we’ll highlight a prospect that is making noise in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL): 19-year-old Mathieu Joseph. The right-winger was selected in the fourth round, 120th overall, at the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and is in his third season with the Saint John Sea Dogs.
“He’s got a good combo of size and speed,” Saint John Sea Dogs head coach Danny Flynn said. “He’s a dangerous forward.”
Last season, Joseph’s play ascended to a new level as he registered 21 goals and 21 assists in 59 regular season games with the Sea Dogs.
