This week, there has been a lot of buzz, specifically on defenseman Anthony DeAngelo. The Lightning selected DeAngelo in the first round, 19th overall, at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Currently, he plays for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL).
When asked about his development, Syracuse Crunch head coach Rob Zettler said: “He’s showing his offensive side.” Zettler also put emphasis on his ability to play down low in the offensive zone.
The Sewell, New Jersey, native played for the Sarnia Sting and the Sault. St. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) last season.
