It didn't take long for the Tampa Bay Lightning to rebound after opening the preseason in the loss column earlier this week. The team shutout its cross-state rival Florida Panthers Thursday night 2-0 in an aggressive battle that saw 22 combined penalty minutes.
Though the Bolts played their second exhibition game in three nights, Thursday night's roster was much different from Tuesday, only featuring four of the same skaters; Brayden Point, Slater Koekkoek, Cory Conacher, and James Wisniewski.
Also remaining intact was the Lightning's goaltending tandem of Kristers Gudlevskis and Adam Wilcox, although Gudlevskis would play all 60 minutes.
