With the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs on the horizon, the Tampa Bay Lightning are poised to complete one of the most impressive regular seasons in league history.
After defeating the Arizona Coyotes 4-1 on Monday, the Lightning claimed their first-ever Presidents' Trophy. This comes on the heels of their 6-3 victory over the Washington Capitals on Saturday, in which they set franchise records for most wins and points in a season.
With nine games remaining in their schedule, the Lightning (56 wins, 116 points) are closing in on rarified air.
