As the calendar flips to 2019, there will be plenty to look forward to in the coming year.
One NHL superstar could become the first player to scored 70 goals in 25 years. One or two notable young players could receive offer sheets this summer. A struggling Western Conference club could trade one of their best players, while an Eastern Conference club could end a lengthy playoff drought.
With what should be another busy year fast approaching, here are my NHL predictions for 2019.
