As part of the year-long collection drive, Replay Tampa Bay, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission (TBSC), Elder Automotive, the Tampa Bay Lightning, onbikes and Flying Fish Bikes will team-up for the first time to assemble and then distribute 100 brand new youth bicycles to underprivileged kids in the Tampa Bay community. The bicycles will benefit United Way Suncoast Agencies.
The event is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 28 and will feature over 100 volunteers converging on the west patio at Amalie Arena between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to assemble 100 youth bikes. Each bicycle will then be gifted during a presentation ceremony on Ford Thunder Alley shortly before the Lightning’s contest with the Toronto Maple Leafs that evening.
