Lightning score three late against Senators to blow open close game, 5-1

Perhaps the luck is changing a bit for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Last month, they couldn’t buy a break, but the puck bounced their way on a few occasions as they beat the Ottawa Senators, 5-1, behind Andrei Vasilevskiy’s 27 saves. Five different Bolts found the back of the net and Brayden Point had a three-point night.

With the lines shuffled due to the absence of Anthony Cirelli, who is listed as day-to-day, there were some interesting combinations on the ice. Conor Sheary returned and played 11:18 with one shot attempt. He also took a couple of big hits in the first period, a nice way to be welcomed back to the NHL.
