After announcing on Thursday the start date for training camps, the NHL still need to sort out some open questions regarding resumption of the play and one of them is the locations of hub cities for the 24-team tournament. As it was announced in May, the league will select two cities which will host 12 teams each - one for the Eastern conference and another for the Western Conference. The preliminary list including ten cities was released shortly after publishing the information about the NHL’s Return to Play plan and emerged as a favourite from the beginning. Yesterday, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that the NHL will announce their selection of Vegas as one of the cities by June 22.
