At this point the Tampa Bay Lightning’s record has given their fan base a little cause for concern. After five games they are sporting a very pedestrian 2-2-1 record and have picked up just 5 out of a possible 10 points. They are 5 points behind the Florida Panthers who are a perfect 5-0 on the season and 1 point behind Boston for the fourth spot in the division. It is, of course, way too early to worry about playoff positioning, but it’s hard not to when you’re writing about the back-to-back Stanley Cup champions.
