In a sign that Erik Cernak is likely to return to the line-up tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning returned defenseman Philippe Myers to the Syracuse Crunch on Wednesday. This follows their previous move of recalling Haydn Fleury from his conditioning loan. Since Myers was on the NHL roster for fewer than 30 days he does not have to go through waivers.
Myers appeared in just one game during his stint with the Lightning, playing 15:32 against the St. Louis Blues in their 5-0 loss on Tuesday. He blocked 2 shots, threw 2 hits, and had 2 shots on goal.
