The NHL announced on Wednesday that the Tampa Bay Lightning will play in eight national TV games in the US. They’ll play Nashville in the very first game of the season, as well as a couple 1pm matinees against New Jersey and Pittsburgh. Tampa Bay had 14 games last season and 13 the year before between just ESPN and TNT.
