After a victory on Friday night against the Utica Comets, the Syracuse Crunch’s in-state rival got their revenge as they scored three times in the third period to upend the home team, 5-2. Chase Stillman had a hat trick that included the eventual game-wining goal early in the third period. For the Crunch, Daniel Walcott and Gabriel Fortier had the goals while Matt Tomkins stopped 34 of 38 shots.
In his first game since being re-assigned, Alex Barré-Boulet had an assist on Fortier’s power play goal. For Syracuse, it was their second loss in a row as they had lost to Belleville (of course) 4-2 on Saturday night.
