Andrei Vasilevskiy is a Stanley Cup Champion with the Tampa Bay Lightning and he’s making that known to everyone with his new mask for the 2020-21 NHL season. Announced on his day with the Cup, Vasy showed off a new mask featuring himself hoisting the Cup, his patented lightning bolt stripes, palm trees, and a lion on top.
The mask was a gift to Vasilevskiy from his mask designer, Sylvie Marsolais, of SylaBrush. [NHL dot com]
The helmet was an apparent gift from Marsolais to Vasilevskiy, and the Lightning goalie probably won’t wear the mask during the 2020-21 season.
