When asked to give an NHL comparison, Moose Jaw Warriors head coach Tim Hunter gave three names: Tyler Johnson, Theoren Fluery, a former teammate of Hunter’s with the Calgary Flames and Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher.
The Calgary, Alberta, native is in his fifth season with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
