The 30-year-old forward has been captain of the Syracuse Crunch for the past 4 years and has skated in 10 career NHL games, all with the Lightning, posting one goal and 17 penalty minutes.
To say that Syracuse forward Mike Angelidis was a force for the Crunch this past season would be a bit of an understatement. The 30-year-old forward, who had what was arguably his best season in the AHL in 2014-15, ended 3rd on the Crunch in scoring. Only Yanni Gourde and Johnathan Marchessault scored more points. In addition to his banner year on the score sheet, Angelidis, who has been captain of the Crunch since the Lightning brought him along in 2012, was a clear force of leadership both on and off the ice.
