TAMPA — It’s not a secret that the Lightning had quite the historic regular season, one where team and individual records seemed to be breaking every other game.
And while the season ended rather abruptly, the Lightning has multiple chances to take home some additional recognition from this season.
“Trophies are hard to win. They truly are,” coach Jon Cooper said after Tampa Bay clinched the Presidents’ Trophy on March 18 with a 4-1 win against Arizona. “I think when you win one, you should be damn proud of it.”

Hart Memorial Trophy
What: The Hart Memorial has been awarded to the league’s regular-season MVP since 1924.
