Fans attending the Tampa Bay Lightning’s season opener Thursday night against the Philadelphia Flyers will notice several major upgrades at Amalie Arena, including a nearly reconstructed club level and other renovations.
The upgrades are part of an overall $25 million revamp of the arena, announced in March and taking place over the next two years and continuing into the 2016-17 season.
In addition to the new club level, fans will find up to 160 new loge seats at the north end, remodeled bathrooms, larger outdoor deck, and a rebuilt stair tower in the northwest corner of the area that will provide access to the terrace level and party deck from the club level.
