Lightning extend winning streak to 5 games with 5-3 win over Maple Leafs

In their second meeting of the season, the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs, 4-3. It was a battle between two hot teams as both entered the game with a 7-2-1 record over their past ten games. The Lightning also entered the game on a four game winning streak, and 3-0-0 on their five game road trip that will wrap up on Saturday with a 1pm matinee against the Ottawa Senators.

Before the game, news came out that Anthony Cirelli would not play, and is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
