Jonathan Drouin welcomed back by Lightning: 'We need him'

Jonathan Drouin is back.

The Lightning recalled the touted wing from AHL Syracuse this morning, and he's expected to be available tonight against the Devils.

Drouin, 20, had been red-hot with the Crunch, nine goals in his past nine games, impressing the Lightning brass since returning from his suspension in early March. The Lightning has been devastated by injuries, with Steven Stamkos (blood clot), Anton Stralman (fractured left leg) out into the playoffs, and Victor Hedman (upper body) and Ryan Callahan (lower body) day to day.

Drouin provides an offensive lift, considering Tampa Bay has scored two goals or fewer in four of its last six games.
