If Bolts' Bishop can't play, it's time for Vasilevskiy to shine

BRANDON — We might never know what’s wrong with Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop. Maybe if his team wins the Stanley Cup, there’ll be doctors and trainers on the back of a flatbed truck in the parade, waving medical charts and MRI results. Right.

We have no idea if Bishop will start tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks. No big deal. It’s only Game 5 of a tied Cup Final.

Bishop wasn’t on the ice Friday for Lightning practice. Lightning coach Jon Cooper said don’t read much into that. Cooper has become a master secret keeper. Forget Charles Barkley and Vince Vaughn.
