High five! Bolts, Stamkos keep streaks alive, shut out Devils

NEWARK, N.J. — Steven Stamkos keeps rolling.

Coincidently, so are the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Stamkos scored for the fifth consecutive game on Friday leading Tampa Bay to a fifth consecutive victory in a 4-0 win at New Jersey.

Ben Bishop finished with 21 saves for his third shutout of the season and the 15th of his career to help Tampa Bay pull to within three points of idle Florida for first place in the Atlantic Division standings.

Tampa Bay won in New Jersey for the first time since March 5, 2013.

Ondrej Palat had a goal and an assist while Alex Killorn and Matt Carle also scored.
