CALGARY, Alberta -- Following a heart-breaking loss to the NHL's second-best team on Tuesday at home, things don't get any easier for the Calgary Flames.
After surrendering a pair of goals 10 seconds apart late in the third period of their 4-2 loss to the expansion Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday, the Flames (25-17-8) will look to bounce back when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning (34-13-3) at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Thursday.
"It's a new day and hopefully we can put this behind us and move forward and forget about this," said right winger Michael Frolik, who made a costly mistake that led to Eric Haula's game-tying goal on Tuesday in his return to Calgary's lineup after missing the past 12 games with a broken jaw.
