The National Hockey League’s Free Agency period is always a bittersweet one for fans. While it is always exciting to see a new player join their favorite team and speculate on what kind of an impact that player is going to have, it is also incredibly tough to say goodbye to a player you’ve grown especially fond of over the years.
Unfortunately, the world of hockey is much more than a game to a lot of people; it is ultimately a business where the name on the front of the jersey is a lot more important than the name on the back of the very same jersey.
