The first game of this highly anticipated series took place this afternoon with the Boston Bruins drawing first blood in a 6-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Tampa Bay started the game matching the Palat-Point-Johnson line up against the Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak to limit their impact. The first half of the opening period saw the Lightning dictate the pace.
