Brenden Morrow announces retirement after 15 seasons

The Dallas Stars and Brenden Morrow announced today the forward's retirement from the National Hockey League after 15 seasons. Morrow signed a ceremonial one-day agreement with Dallas on Thursday and retired as a member of the Stars.

Morrow, 37, recorded 575 points (265-310=575), 1,362 penalty minutes and a plus/minus rating of +107 in 991 career regular-season games over 15 NHL seasons with Dallas, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Tampa Bay. The forward also skated in 118 Stanley Cup Playoffs games in his career, registering 46 points (19-27=46) and 130 penalty minutes. Morrow appeared in two Stanley Cup Finals in his career with Dallas in 2000 and most recently as a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2015, while also reaching the Conference Finals twice in 2008 with Dallas and 2013 with Pittsburgh.
