Boyle's chicken dance only matters if Lightning win series

TAMPA — Bok, bok, bok.

Brian Boyle’s inspired “chicken dance” was the true Lightning highlight in Game 3.

That tells you a lot about Game 3, a limp 2-0 Lightning loss.

But let art be art for a moment, or Boyle be Boyle.

You just don’t see hockey players doing chicken dances.

Throw in the 6-foot-7 Boyle’s wingspan and, well, it was something. A chicken couldn’t have done better.

Boyle was calling out Red Wings punk winger Justin Abdelkader, who pummeled Lightning winger Mike Blunden into a bloody mess while Blunden lay on the ice during a scrum late in Game 2.
