TAMPA — If the Tampa Bay Lightning have any inclination to adopt a theme song for the rest of this postseason, a 1971 hit for ex-Beatles drummer Ringo Starr might fit the bill:
“It Don’t Come Easy.’’
After watching Tampa Bay’s 21 playoff games, any Lightning fan worth his or her Maalox can tell you the Eastern Conference champions prefer the hard road. Wednesday night’s galling 2-1 loss to Chicago in the Stanley Cup Final marked the third time in four playoff series the Lightning dropped Game 1.
Two of those setbacks came at Amalie Arena, where the Lightning boasted the best home record in the NHL during the regular season.
