Bolts notes: Vasilevskiy looks solid in season debut

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Lightning shook the roster up slightly heading into Sunday’s late afternoon game against Carolina at RBC Center.

Tampa Bay recalled G Andrei Vasilevskiy and LW Tye McGinn from Syracuse of the American Hockey League while sending G Kristers Gudlevskis and RW Jonathan Marchessault back down.

Vasilevskiy, who has been out since undergoing surgery in September to alleviate a blood clot near his left collarbone, is expected to make his season debut for Tampa Bay. The 21-year-old made two conditioning starts for Syracuse this week, allowing two goals in two games while picking up victories against Toronto and Hershey stopping 54-of-56 shots he faced.
