Bolts notes: Latest injury will sideline Johnson up to three games

TAMPA - The Tampa Bay Lightning will once again have to go forward without the services of C Tyler Johnson.

Johnson will miss tonight’s game against Washington and could miss up to three more games.

“We will probably be lucky to see Johnson on the road trip,’’ Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said.

Tampa Bay plays back-to-back games at Columbus and Toronto on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, and at Washington on Friday.

Forward Mike Blunden was recalled from Syracuse of the American Hockey League and is expected to arrive ahead of tonight’s game.

Johnson missed four games with an undisclosed upper body injury from Nov.
