BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The familiar toothless grin worn by Erik Condra returned to Lightning practice on Monday.
As Tampa Bay prepared for Tuesday’s Game 3 against the New York Islanders with a 50-minute practice at Barclays Center, Condra skated with the team for the first time since exiting the first game of the series. A hit from New York C Casey Cizikas sent Condra flying head first into the boards and left him prone on the ice for several moments before being helped to the locker room.
“It’s a scary thing, that’s the part of the sport that is a little scary,’’ Condra said.
