OTTAWA - The long bus ride from downtown Ottawa to Canadian Tire Centre Monday morning offered plenty of time for Erik Condra to reflect.
The Lightning forward, who joined Tampa Bay as a free agent in the summer, spent five seasons playing in Canada’s capital city. Monday is his first time returning to play in the city he called home for the first five years of his NHL career.
“You get the giddys a little bit, you get excited,’’ Condra said. “You remember the drive from downtown to (the arena) and then just looking at all the sites and places you have been.
