TAMPA — The list of Lightning injuries continues to increase instead of decrease.
C Tyler Johnson, who just returned on Wednesday, is right back on the sidelines after leaving Friday’s game in Washington after playing just one shift. His status for Saturday’s game is in doubt, though he had not been ruled out following Saturday’s optional morning skate before Tampa Bay hosts the New York Islanders.
Tampa Bay recalled C Mike Angelidis from Syracuse of the American Hockey League, giving Tampa Bay 22 players on the active roster.
Johnson missed three games last week after taking an elbow to the chin area from Florida C Dave Bolland before returning to the ice.
