Bolts Notes: Bishop won't let bad goal get him down

Tampa Bay Lightning

BRANDON — The goal Ben Bishop scored on Thursday won’t exactly show up on his career highlight tape.

But Bishop made sure to go back and look at the goal he put into his own net during the second period of Game 4 in Detroit at Joe Louis Arena. After making a glove save on a Joakim Andersson shot, the puck popped into the air and Bishop tried to whack it away with his stick. But he ended up knocking the puck off the crossbar before it dropped into the crease and spun back behind the goal line to give the Red Wings a 2-0 lead at the time.
