Bolts' Morrow, assistants hoping to have names etched in history

At the end of this race is the Stanley Cup.

For some, it’s a lifelong pursuit. For some of those, that finish line will never be crossed.

With the Lightning seeking the second Stanley Cup title in franchise history, three key members of the organization are looking to get their names engraved on the Cup for the first time in long and storied careers in the game — 15-year veteran forward Brenden Morrow, along with coaches Steve Thomas, who had a successful playing career, and Rick Bowness, a 40-year veteran in the league who has coached more than 2,000 games in the NHL.
