CHICAGO — For a young Lightning squad, never has being so close seemed so far away.
After winning Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final to gain a 2-1 series lead against the Blackhawks, Tampa Bay needs just two victories to capture the second Stanley Cup title in franchise history.
Understandably, the Lightning were still feeling pretty good heading into tonight’s Game 4 at United Center, where they will have a chance to seize control of the series. But they also understand nothing has been accomplished yet.
“We’re a long ways away yet,’’ veteran forward Brenden Morrow said.
