Some nights, it’s not your night. Last night, it was Andrei Vasilevskiy who had one of those bad nights. The 24-year-old netminder allowed five goals on 33 San Jose Sharks shots in a 5-2 Tampa Bay Lightning loss on the road. Even though Vasy allowed a few shots he normally wouldn’t, the defense in front of him kind of dropped the ball when it came to covering the front of the net. It wasn’t Erik Cernak’s best night either, frankly.
With the loss, Tampa Bay’s point streak in 16 straight games is over.
