The Lightning also got a pair of goals from Steven Stamkos, including one of two late empty-netters. Nikita Nesterov and Alex Killorn had the other Tampa Bay goals.
Zack Smith and Erik Karlsson scored for the Senators, who have lost six of their last seven road games.
Angelidis, playing in his second NHL game this season and 12th overall, made it 3-1 at 2:45 of the second period when he beat Andrew Hammond during a goalmouth scramble.
