The intrigue over whether Chicago forward Andrew Shaw bit Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman in Game 1 appears to be over.
"I'm not going to go into details," Shaw said after Friday's practice at Amalie Arena. "We're here to focus on the next game."
The drama started during the opening game of the Stanley Cup final, when Hedman went after Blackhawks star Patrick Kane during the first period. Shaw joined the scrum near the goal.
"He went after one of our better players," Shaw said. "That creates the scrums. We're just battling out there. I expect battles with him in front of the net the rest of the series, as well.
