The Nashville Predators picked up from where they left off last night and delivered the Lightning their second loss of the preseason.
For only the second time in franchise history, the Tampa Bay Lightning have started the preseason 0-2. The team lost its second consecutive game to the Nashville Predators 5-2 Wednesday night at Bridgestone Arena.
While Nashville had six of its players from last night’s game on its roster, the Lightning, excluding goaltender Adam Wilcox, had a completely new squad, which included the preseason debut of the Triplets. With training camp in full motion, the team trimmed down its camp roster today by reassigning eight players, including defenseman Anthony DeAngelo and forward Mitchell Stephens who both played in last night’s game.
