TAMPA — This is how it should be.
Doug Williams and the Bucs, together again. Again.
Williams, one of the proudest men I’ve ever met, beamed Wednesday as the Bucs introduced him as a 2015 inductee into the team’s Ring of Honor. Another Bucs great, the unstoppable Mike Alstott, will be inducted in October, two months before Williams.
You know, there might have been a time when the idea of waiting this long for this honor might have bothered Williams. Heck, it bothered me. Now he doesn’t even mind company, the Bucs breaking with their one-per-year Ring tradition.
