I’m worried. Actually, I’m extremely concerned about the Right Guard position on this football team.
Last year, the position, manned by Caleb Benenoch negatively impacted the whole offensive line, especially Demar Dotson and Ryan Jensen.
This offseason, Benenoch made the switch to Right Tackle and the future at Right Guard was put into the hands of Alex Cappa. The Buccaneers drafted Cappa in the late third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The team did bring in veteran Earl Watford to compete with Cappa, but Watford has never been a top Guard throughout his NFL career.
