Jameis Winston has been back for all of one drive, and he’s already showing why he’s the starter instead of Ryan Fitzpatrick. He completed four of five passes for 60 yards and this beautiful touchdown, with a little help from Cameron Brate.
The Bucs have struggled to turn yards into touchdowns, but no such thing here—which is exactly why Winston is a better player than Fitzpatrick.
Some folks were questioning that, given that the Bucs had won two out of their three games with Fitzpatrick at the helm while Winston was dealing with a shoulder injury.
