The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are dominating the Seattle Seahawks, leading 14-5 at the half with the defense just shutting down Russell Wilson and company. That almost changed just before halftime, but Bucs cornerback Alterraun Verner would not let it happen.
That play was beautiful — Verner jumped the route perfectly. What made it more beautiful is the fact that the Bucs cornerback made that play while mourning and honoring his father, who just passed away.
You could see an outpouring of emotion on the field and on the sidelines after this play, reminiscent of what happened when Kwon Alexander forced two turnovers just after his brother passed away last year.
