JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville Jaguars coach Gus Bradley certainly has a unique way of conducting interviews when he’s searching for a coordinator.
Before Bradley promoted Todd Wash to defensive coordinator on Thursday, he had Wash sit in on the interviews with outside candidates Jim Schwartz, Marquand Manuel, Lou Anarumo, and Jerome Henderson. That’s slightly different than what Bradley did when searching for a replacement for offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch last January, when he interviewed Doug Marrone, Adam Gase and Greg Olson in a group setting.
Bradley said his reason behind the unorthodox approach was to make sure he found the best candidate and he believed Wash would be valuable help.
