Tight end Tim Wright rejoins Bucs

TAMPA — Tim Wright, who shined with the Bucs as a rookie tight end in 2013 but was traded to the Patriots for guard Logan Mankins in August, is back with Tampa Bay.

The Bucs claimed him Friday after he was waived by New England.

Wright has 11 touchdown catches in his two seasons, the most of any tight end in his rookie class, and the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Rutgers grad will add depth behind second-year pro Austin Seferian-Jenkins.

The Bucs have been active in using their position with priority on all waiver claims this summer. They have also added safety D.
