The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-5) were under a lot of criticism for a recent slew of slow starts, but Tom Brady and co. were able to overcome that in Saturday’s 47-7 win over the Detroit Lions (5-10).
Brady threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns in the first half as the Bucs set a new franchise record for the most points scored in the first half and for the biggest first half lead. The Bucs were up, 34-0, before the Lions could blink.
Blaine Gabbert came in for Brady after halftime and still found a way to throw for over 140 yards and two touchdowns.
