Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New York Giants Recap: Turnovers Doom Bucs Again, 38-35

A game that seemed like a guaranteed win earlier this season was the exact opposite. Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but turnovers killed the Bucs in this matchup yet again.

The defense couldn’t stop anyone in the first quarter, giving up a season-best (for the Giants) 139 yards. Two quick touchdowns thanks to Barkley gave New York enough padding to finish out the game.

Barkley and the offense got off to a good start, marching 63 yards in six plays on their first possession. The drive was capped off with a six yard pass to Barkley from Eli Manning for the game’s first score.
