Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Vincent Jackson poised for bounce-back season

It feels weird saying Vincent Jackson and “bounce-back season” in the same sentence. After all, Jackson had 70 catches and over 1,000 receiving yards last season. It wasn’t a bad year. But, for a wideout who hasn’t gone under 1,100 yards since 2010, when he held out for the first 10 games of the season for a new contract, the 2014 campaign left a lot to be desired.

With new offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter at the helm and a promising quarterback in Jameis Winston under center, Jackson will have that bounce-back year in the 2015.

Even though head coach Lovie Smith has stressed the importance of having a balanced offense behind the much-improved Doug Martin, there will be opportunities for Koetter to tap into the four verticals offense he ran with the Atlanta Falcons.
