CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without starting outside linebacker Joe Tryon-Shoyinka against the Carolina Panthers Sunday as they try to gain some ground in the NFC South.
The Buccaneers downgraded Tryon-Shoyinka, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, from "doubtful" to "out" and he did not make the trip to Charlotte, the team announced.
The Buccaneers' 32nd overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, Tryon-Shoyinka has two sacks and three tackles for a loss so far this season, with a forced fumble coming in the Bucs' Week 1 victory over the Washington Commanders.
